As I have said on several posts, should have just let him coach the one or two playoff games and then said bye. Would have avoided all this drama

He was taking the coaches, and players whether he left yesterday or after the playoffs. Best move for OM is to rip off the bandaid, and start moving forward.
This is gotten to the point where one just has to laugh at each new social media post because it could not have been more of a dumpster fire. Hell it's like he keeps throwing gasoline on it himself.

Kiffin was known to be like this. After that E60 came out, I had people in bible study openly saying we should strive to be more like Kiffin and changing our lives for the better.
Nobody with an ounce of integrity would entertain letting him coach another game after letting his intention to depart for a conference foe be known. He knew that. Coaching in the playoffs was a made up controversy by Kiffin for him to rationalize acting like the child he is and go scorched earth in getting what he wants. Watch...he's going to paint himself as the victim in all this because Lane Kiffin is perfect.

2. he’s going to a school who stole money from kids with terminal diseases, and cancer.
3. Behind the glamour of college football, you can do anything you want (including molesting kids, penn state) if you win.

Us seeing him go scorched earth on Ole Miss is probably akin to what it feels like for Saudi Arabia to watch Isreal put a foot up Iran’s ***. They have no use for the Zionist infidels, but they are going to turn their radar off and look the other way when Israeli jets are going to Tehran.

The only thing that could make this more humorous is if at some point something resulted in LSU either pulling the offer or terminating him before he coaches a game, sort of like the George O’Leary fiasco. Although with the combo of OM/LSU/Kiffin would have more of a Maury Povich/Springer vibe to it.
If our admin doesn't see this whole thing as a massive opportunity they need to all be fired. Invest everything we have today in great assistants and the portal. Strike right now while Ole Miss is a mess.

If this were us and Kiffin said he was leaving for Bama or Auburn you'd be fine with letting him coach as long as he wants? That's crazy. Especially after the guy has been canned in the past for not putting in the work when juggling multiple jobs.
I could maybe be okay with it if the coach were jumping conferences and geographic regions but it still would make me uncomfortable. Jumping to NFL? Okay fine - there isn't a conflict there.
10000% they were totally fine with him being human garbage as long as he was their human garbage. Only now that they're being abandoned do they clutch at their pearls.
If I was an OLe Miss fan I would be worried about being left out of the playoff.
I mean, if all or a significant portion of their damn coaching staff is done, are they really the same team?
He may be a Penis, but he coached them to an 11 win season and a spot in the playoff. He earned the right to coach them in post season. He held all the cards and the UM admin threw a hissy fit that he was leaving and are trying to punish him for it. Sounds like the DoucheBag University held the Grenade to long.

But if this really blows up and the offensive staff takes off too.... damn.... they should have just let him stay. Enjoy what was left of the season. Then rebuild from the ground up next year.

But do remember all this is internet rumor. It would not surprise me if the Sandy Vaginas haven't made up some or all of these rumors.
