I thought that Ole Miss beating us in baseball would make people wake up about the situation with Polk. I was wrong.

And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but even if Ole Miss wins the whole thing, we will still have fans that will be in denial and will still make fun of Ole Miss.

I had someone tell me on another board that we were as good as Ole Miss THIS YEAR because we beat them twice in Oxford, and that Cohen didn't need to clean house because we already had some good players. NOT making this up.

If it is a 1 seed (Ole Miss) versus a 2 seed (Virginia) then yes automatically the 1 gets the Super, based on the assumption that the 1 did submit a super regional bid along with their regional bid

And since we know Ole Miss has submitted that bid, then they would host

arguably we (State) have had a pretty bad decade of baseball. However, the last 10 years for Ole Miss have been the best years of their baseball history. And yet, during our "down" years, head to head against Ole Miss we are 39 - 39 while having gone to Omaha 3 times during that span. They are making and hosting post season tournaments.. and that's it. They can keep their program.
