do we end up hurting our bowl seeding by knocking them out of a BCS bowl?

If we beat Bama then we end up at least in the Peach Bowl. If we don't then it's between us and Arky for the Cotton, who would prefer Arky. then us and GA/FL for the Peach and Gator, who both would prefer GA/FL. we could be screwed by all three for worse teams and wind up in the Music City Bowl.</p>
if we could only win 2 out of our last 3, I think we're better off beating Ark/OM than Bama/OM.
If we knock off Bama/OM, Bama would probably go to the Capital One Bowl assuming they lose to Auburn. That'll put LSU in Cotton Bowl, Ark in Peach, and us in Gator or Music City.
If we knock off Ark/OM, then the winner of the Bama/Auburn game will go to the Title Game, loser will probably go to the Sugar Bowl. LSU would go to Capitol One, MSU to Cotton, and Ark to Peach.
Again, alot of scenerios, but I think MSU is better off beating Arkansas and OM than Bama and OM.
