say 24-13 or 21-7 will you be worried about this year or does it need to be a blow out for the whool to continue to flourish?

Too many unknowns about Memphis with the new staff. I know they supposedly do not have any talent, but I think we play it vanilla and safe and just get the W. I'll only worry ifwe lose or winlast minute.

I honestly think we will look very vanilla so that we don't reveal too much to Auburn. Even with a plain Jane offense, we should win by 2 TDs.

If we keep it pretty plain, and just run the ball down their throats, and have the starters on the bench early in the 2nd half I will be fine. If we struggle with our starters all game and have trouble scoring against them then I will be worried

Memphis has nothing coming back and a new staff. Even if we play flat first half, depth/talent should dominate this game. I'll be disappointed if we let them hang around the entire game.

I think you take the W any way you can get it to start the season. Ideally though, I think you'd love to be totally vanilla on both sides of the ball and get them down by 3 scores early. At that point, start rolling your young talent through to get some game experience and find out who among the young guys can really contribute when the lights are on.Then going into next Thursday, you have a better idea of what you can do as a teamand you pull out all the stops against Auburn.

We just need to beat the hell out of them. Playing it sfae doesn't get you any where @ the end of the season. Puttin a beating on them makes State look better. We don't have to show them to much of our offense to win.

a fairly close first quarter as we settle in and get used to playing ball again. Second quarter we see Russell and a lot of new faces that are expected to contribute heavily this year like Perkins. The game will stay within 14 points or so. The third quarter I think we pull away, but anything could happen when the scrubs are in for the fourth. It won't get too close, but winning the game by 14-17 would not surprise me.

I don't think we cover because:
1. We won't go all out on offense
2. Memphis' defense won't be horrible
3. We are going to play a LOT of people
4. Mullen is going to let the second / third teams play through mistakes and tough situations
