If we closed in the other endzone...

Cuzdawg mentioned this after the baseball renderings came out and I posted it here on SPS. I really think it would be awesome to build lofts like we are doing at DNF in the north endzone.

I mentioned before that I would love to see us do the exact same thing in the south endzone that we just did in the north. I think it would look phenomenal.

I really can't imagine how loud that would be if we fully enclosed.

Cowbells would probably last 1 game in such a scenario (as long as Slive is still calling shots by then).

K-State has some interesting endzone seating

In front of a building near the field.

I'd like to see us do some premium seating in that area if anything. Maybe something like the Scoreboard club where you have access to a concourse and an indoor area as well as chair back seats. Only problem with that is that it will look half full in a very visible area if people decide to go inside or walk around the concourse.

Another option. If we ever decided to replace the bleachers with chairbacks in sections between the 30's then we could use that endzone area to make back the capacity lost.

Is that not the north endzone shown in that picture? I can see a few rows of seats in the south endzone in the corner of the photo.

Our next major expansion is a ways off, but it could involve the west side upper deck and press box before the south end zone. I'm thinking adding the end pieces to the upper deck to match the east side, and completely rebuilding the PB and making suites out of the middle deck club seating. Just a hunch though, but it would probably add about 4-5k seats.

I thought the next phase was renovating the East side, or did I miss that happening with the NEZ?

I won't be here in 25 years. Make it happen. J/k. Other than some minor tweaks, I can't see any major seating additions over the next 10 years or so.

The final Davis Wade Stadium I would like to see would include updating the East side concessions, bathrooms, etc., like the West side. Matching the East and West upper decks, a new Jack Cristil Press box, and adding Club seating and Skyboxes to the West Side. I would tear down the Seal Building and enclose the South end zone. The new structure would include the Seal M Club level with premium seating and big lounge for recruiting and former players and lettermen. I would also add additional premium seating including something unique. I am a Gridiron Member and it is great, something cool but definitely premium and unique. I would also have some additional seating for students or visitors. It would also include a new state-of-the-art locker room. The final seating should be approximately 72,000-75,000. That's what I would like to see and I think it's doable over several years.

a new state of the art locker room is needed NOW. it would be a total fail on our part to leave it as-is.

If they took a DNF apartment approach it would be VERY unique and cool as all get out.

I agree. Do this but maybe add a small amount of endzone seats and maybe some even on top of the structure to add about 4-5,000 additional seats. The lofts with brick would really lock in sound and make it echo. It'd probably be one of the loudest in the country. Also havve to match up the upper decks.
