Al sharpton or the REV. Jackson? Or do they ride together?

Does anyone think this will at least be part of the reason Croom doesnt get fired this year? I personally do. I think the idea of national media covering the "wrongful" termenation of our coach will help him keep his job at least one more year.

Greg Byrne is not going to make a decision on Croom's future based on whether or not he thinks people will get upset with him for firing a black man. That line of thinking in itself is, if not racist itself, very ignorant. I don't know Byrne personally, but I'll go out on a limb and say he is neither a racist nor ignorant. If you think he just wants to avoid controversey, then did you have your head up your *** when he hired Cohen?

For pre-emptaively blasting off at the media or civil rights advocates (no matter how misguided they may or may not be) and presuming they will bring it up, well... some of YOU sure like to bring it up a lot.

I'm locking simply because I'm sick of posts like this and no other reason. If that's unfair, unlock it and continue to discuss with veiled racism and ignorance.
