The kid is undersized I know but he is just a playmaker. I watched several Brandon games this last season and he was the leader on that team. He made plays all over the field. I know we are trying to get him to walk on. But I'd rather get him in school and if we have a scholly, why not.

I've been more critical of Carr than most on this board, but based on potential, he deserves a scholarship more than Polk if he's got his head on straight.

Biggest crap shoot in the game. Might as well get someone with decent measurables we can take a stab at developing. Hell, maybe they don't even need the measurables if we have a spot to play with. Just offer a strong mean mf'er a shot at playing in the SEC.

I noticed that Hinds CC

Had a couple with measureables- and they were the only ones I glanced at. I'm sure if we can scour the JUCO commit lists we can find one that is worth taking.

Hinds had a guy that was 6'7" 320 or 330 from Vicksburg. I've never seen him play and I don't know what his academic situation is like though.

I'm 5'11 and weigh about 190. Think they could use me? I don't have a 40 time because I can't run that far, and my vertical leap is 2 inches if I try real hard. But I have 4 years of eligibility left ....
