The biggest issue has been corrected.

We won the Egg Bowl. Last year it was just a death blow to the team psyche. Didn't really look like they cared because Alabama had already deflated us, then we screw up a chance at potentially winning the Egg and a Bowl and getting to 10 wins by shitting all over the field in Oxford. Not that I want to be winning the Egg Bowl every year to get eligible, but it appears the way that we did it those last two games has the team itching for one last game together.

I don't know about getting all negative, but for whatever reason, there is a huge difference between 7-6 and 6-7 to me. I think that staying on the winning side of our overall season record is very important

As I recall, there may have been some discord and turmoil on the corching staff, particularly on the defensive side prior to and leading up to the bowl game last year, and that in turn kind of put a damper on everything.

There was definitely something wrong last year. And not just at the end of the year. The team underperformed the whole season.

I'm not sure but there will def be a lot of it. My overall opinion of Mullen won't change, but losing to a CUSA team would be nothing short of embarrassing. We've got a lot of momentum in recruiting right now, and a chance to flip a couple prospects (Cory Thomas, Trey Carter), so we really need a blow out win. They have 19 Srs I hear. Rice will give us their best shot. Gotta jump on them early, but I doubt they will lay over and take it from us.

Yeah, it's gonna be ugly if we lose to Rice. Like, pre-Arkansas ugly x 10. I'm worried as hell about this game, because not only is there a chance we lose, but there's a chance we lose to.........Rice. Their name alone would be embarrassing to lose to.
