If we make it to Atlanta, do we run the risk

of ****** ticket sales for the SECCCG? We would probably be matched up with Mizzou or Florida, and already a lock for a playoff game. Would people pass on the Championship Game, and hold out for Bowl Tickets? I could see where this becomes more of an issue going forward and the appeal of it dwindling.

Not a chance. We put 40,000 in Jacksonville for a Gator Bowl.

30K minimum in Atlanta (and, if we're fortunate, New Orleans).

Pasadena may be a bit trickier.

Are you shitting me? We would be playing for an SEC championship. There will be at least 40K dawgs in the building and another 20K outside of it.

We had 20k+ that went to Omaha Nebraska for the CWS finals and that is far from the deep south and for baseball. Football, in the south, we'll have as many as we can get. We'll split the stadium easy. It'd be best to play Mizzou, I don't see them traveling for this one as they don't have NC implications and were just there last year; plus they know they'd lose.

I HOPE to be going to all the post season games that are available to us, but as far as games I could actually attend this year, the SECCG is the top one for me.

I checked yesterday and tickets to SECCG already going for $260 per minimum. I'll certainly go but hoping some Bama fans will dump tix cheap this Sunday.

I don't know how Mizzou travels but I hope I get to buy one of their allotted tickets. Because BDC is looking like only the top 1500 are getting tix

NO ...

of ****** ticket sales for the SECCCG?

I'm 63 years old and Mississippi State hasn't won the SEC during my lifetime. If the Dogs make it there, I'll be there if I have to walk from Virginia to Atlanta.

Would love to be in the 'final four' but first things first ... let's win the SEC and then .. we can talk about the NC.

MSU bowl ticket sales mean nothing for the next year or two.

We have earned enough notoriety/respect this season (even if we don't win the West) to where we would be picked over the schools that would claim "pick us over MSU because we travel well". That respect will last through next season and maybe the one after that, too. Not to mention that we have actually traveled well in the recent past.

So I don't think it matters one bit if State only has 5,000 fans at the SEC Championship Game, especially if we make the playoffs. The SECCG is probably a much bigger corporate ticket than school/fan game anyway.

Similarly, it doesn't matter if State only has 5,000 fans at the playoff games either, other than motivating our team to play a little harder.
