Perkins can rush for 1000 yards this year and still won't get the credit he deserves from many fans. People would still predict him to lose the starting job next year.

It's weird that Perkins was literally a nobody out of high school.....

Tuberville offered him because he blew everybody away at their camp with his speed. If Tubs hadn't been fired Perkins would be lighting us up from the Auburn sideline. Croom didn't want him, he was too fast for us I guess. Mullen may have still gotten him from Tubs though.
