I was afraid you were gonna ask me to accept some level of penetration from the French First Lady in return for 6 wins.

I am relieved.

ETA: I'd handicap the odds of this team winning 6 games at less than 5%, but if it happens it'll likely be some combination of the 3 games we're clear favorites in and 3 of ASU, Arky, Mizzou, or OM.

Arizona State is the key to getting to 6. I think Arkansas and Missouri could be winnable. Tennessee and Ole Miss are the weakest home games.

Texas and Georgia aren't happening. We aren't winning at Florida or A&M either.

Arkansas, Missouri & either Arizona State or Mississippi. I think we may win 1 of those.

I could see one, especially if someone’s qb goes down
I don’t even want to think about that. But we’re in better shape if/when it happens with the FSU transfer of even the true FR than we were last year. I sTill think we win game.

No, I’m saying some opponents on the schedule could lose their qb1. That instantly makes the game winnable, like Arkansas and Taylen Green

Ah. You could be right then. You threw me off with the injury might help us instead of hurt us.

If we go 6-6 (which we won't), then we would have beaten Tennessee & Ole Miss in our friendly confines.

We're gonna beat Ark and Florida. Egg Bowl will be 5-6 vs. 5-6 for Bowl eligibility. (Florida's QB injury situation is worse than they're letting on)

Interesting about Florida QB. From a quick Google, you may be on to something. If he goes down, they're in trouble. And it always seems to be one injury or another with him.

I personally think we beat Texas, Georgia, Ole Miss, and A&M but lose to Az State, NIU, Arkansas, and Mizzou.

6-6
Ahhh the reverse psychology. I like it. There's also a miniscule chance you could go (6-6, 6-2 Conference). How maddening would that be?

I don’t think they ever laid down and quit…. I think they just sucked that bad.
I saw all kinds of quit on the field with Toledo. And then pretty much every game after that. We tried hard against AZ State and didn't try that hard again all season.

Toledo was a disaster. I thought they showed respectable fight on the road in Athens, Austin, and Oxford in games they had zero chance of winning. Decent enough in the other games.

We were a terrible team. If we had quit with our talent level, we lose several games by 50+. As depressing as this sounds, the fact that we only lost some of those games by 2-3 TD’s tells me we were playing hard if nothing else. That’s how untalented we were last year.

unpopular opinion on Athens, Austin, Oxford: adjusted competition to salvage what little TV ratings they could on those games

Lost 35-13 at TX, were down 33-10 at Georgia before garbage time made it look closer than it ever was. Egg bowl is Egg Bowl. Anything can happen.
