Message: <blockquote data-quote="3xWVUenginEER" data-source="post: 131743970" data-attributes="member: 1476506"><p>Not to correct your thread title but always remember the Athletic Dept’s goal is to not make $$$$$$$ but to increase & maximize incoming $$$$$$$$ revenue.  They always want to max the $$$$$$$$ revenue coming in and spend it as best they can so they break even or lose a little to a lot of $$$$$$ so as to justify raising ticket prices and “donations” to buy the tickets.  This is why 0.500 coaches get multimillion dollar guaranteed contracts and even coordinators and ADs get million dollar deals guaranteed  over multiple years.  It’s  the best business model in team sports, except for the Green Bay Packers, which sells phony ownership certs for a franchise the city owns.</p></blockquote><p></p>
