Pretty fun to watch live once you get the hang of the rules and there’s no such thing as too much football. We were at the game last weekend when they beat Edmonton. Snoop performed before the game

If my memory is correct, we had a Dog playing Quarterback in the Grey Cup for Stampeders in the early 80ies......

One of the best players ever in the CFL came from Mississippi State. Here's an article about him. The NFL wanted him but he was making the same money playing in the CFL and decided to stay. Jackie Parker

Anybody watch UFL this season? I caught a few games. I do like the “openness” of their presentation with mic’ed up coaches, players, and officials, especially when it comes to replay officials.

Well - yes there is. The spring league that Birmingham plays in is too much football. I've never watched one of those games.

Does the Canadian League play in meters?

CFL plays in yards. But midfield is the 55-yard line. No apparent reason why.

55 yards is right at 50 meters. That may be the basis.

Anecdote: One of my golf buddies bought a new laser range finder some years ago. He thought it was defective since the yardage was always lower than he knew it to be. So he sent it back to the factory. They sent it back to him and told him it was set to read meters. He's a Ga Tech Aero Engineer ....
