Im not sure the Colts ever had the talent to win the SB, at least not like the Broncos had.. but I guess the chance of a title is better than nothing.

Even in hindsight they made the right play. Remember they got Luck because Peyton sat out, so they would have traded out of #1 and stacked up picks which wasn’t popular then, or taken the next best player.
