MSU is price gouging as well.<div><div>
</div></div><div>Before someone makes the excuse that prices are set by the NIT, they are not.</div><div>
</div><div>MSU is charging $20 per seat + $5 service charge. MTSU and UTK are charging $10 per seat. MTSU isn't even charging a service fee or that stupid $2 will call fee.</div><div>
</div><div>Someone in the athletic dept. decided it is a good idea to double the price for the privilege of watching Stans & Co.</div><div>

The only ways for you to voice your opinion are to contact Stricklin or boycott the program. If the Hump is mostly empty, consisting of only blue-hairs, then a message will be sent.

If stans is acutally coming back there isn't any way in hell I would go after the plane crash that was our last 7-8 games.

...it all depends on what's going on in my house tomorrow night whether I'll even tune in to WATCH.

Somewhere during the season this team collectively checked out and mailed it in. I hope it's different next year for the guys coming back. .....But I've spent my last dollar cheering for them before then.

It feels like if you're able to go to the games and choose not to then you're not supporting the program. I'll always want to see us win more than I want to see Stansbury gone; however, I don't know any other way to show my dissatisfaction. I'm not a big money donor and I don't know people who have pull with the organization.<div>
</div><div>I'm not the biggest fan of boycotts, but if that's really the only way for me to get the message across... so be it.</div>

...and won't set foot in the Hump until Stans is gone. It's not childish. It's voting with your checkbook.

buy Rick a nice plaque commemorating another 20+ win season and not making the tournament. If more than 5 people show up and buy a ticket the additional money will go to Rick Stansbury buy out fund.

why would they want to ramp up prices for an NIT game in what may be the most disappointing basketball season in MSU history ever?? Yea, let's just throw salt in the wounds of the ol' MSU fans by making them pay even more money to come watch a team they are totally frustrated with at the moment. I mean what genious thought up that idea over in the Bryan building??

Big D said:
ultimately you are hurting the entire Athletic department doing that.

how about support your team/university and if you want Stricklin to notice your tears then send him an email and stop your bitching. this place is becoming annoying as hell. see y'all in August.

It may be a bad decision, but it's not an indefensible decision.

If he fails to make the tournament next year and is not fired, it will be time to boycott. He shouldn't get to claim he doesn't have the talent to make the tournament. If you want to claim that defense, you have to make the tournament when you clearly do have the talent, like this year.

We shouldn't have even accepted to play in this tournament. We have more important matters to attend to than to host a game or two in what is essentially going to be a half assed scrimmage. With the combination of spring break and ****** season I gotta think the expected attendance would be at embarrassing levels. There are television shows I'd rather watch than the whatever is on display Tuesday night at the hump.
