If You Could Set Your Teams Schedule

Credit Mike Salem over on the 4A Board for coming up with this topic... If you could set the schedule for your team without adhering to district play, who would you choose for them to play?

Take Varina for instance...

I would keep Hermitage, Thomas Dale, Atlee, Henrico, Highland Springs and Lee-Davis on their schedules... That leaves four open slots...

For entertainment value and to test your mettle for playoffs... you could schedule LC Bird, Meadowbrook and maybe renew series from the past such as with Prince George or a Mills Godwin or Douglas Freeman.

So how would you set your teams schedule?

for HSHS I'd keep
MB, Varina, Atlee, Henrico, maybe Hanover or L-D. I'd add to them,
T. Dale, Manchester, Hermitage and or Bird.

I'd have Indian River's schedule like this, and the numbers on the left represent the week not the actual date:

1. Thursday night game at Cox
2. at Highland Springs
3. at Norcom
4. Great Bridge
5. Western Branch
6. Hickory Homecoming
7. Lake Taylor
8. bye week
9. Deep Creek
10. at Oscar Smith
11. at Grassfield
