to the site of any non-MSU football game this fall, where would it be and why? One involving an SEC team(s) and the other involving non-SEC teams...

The obvious SEC choice is Georgia-Florida, but I don't like the fact that it's in Jacksonville. I'd prefer to be in an SEC town, so I'll go with Auburn-Georgia on the Plains. I've never been there, and it's a late season game. It's a great match-up this year, but also one of the oldest rivalries in the South. Both teams will be competing for spots in the SEC Championship Game, and even though the Dawgs should be favored to win based on pre-season expectations, the Tigers will be looking for revenge after getting pummeled last year in Athens. Tubs and Franklin should have the Tiger offense rolling by then, but there's a good chance Georgia could still be in contention for the national title. I'd probably cheer for Georgia, but honestly I'd just wanna see a good game.

As for the non-conference, USC-Ohio State comes to mind first. This is a classic Rose Bowl match-up, even though it'll be at USC (and not the Rose Bowl). Plus the winner of this game pretty much controls their own destiny to the title game. Los Angeles is a fun place and The Coliseum is just off campus, but as far as the overall experience goes, I doubt the atmosphere would be that great because the surrounding area is no place to hang out (South Central LA). For those reasons, I'll go with Ohio State at Wisconsin. It's a night game in early October (nice, cool weather) and I've always heard that Madison is the best college town the North has to offer. This year's game should be pretty good with both teams having a shot at the Big Ten title. Considering how much fun it's been to cheer against the Bucks over the last couple of years, it'd be a good time cheering for the Badgers and taking in the moment.

alcohol consumption that would make an Ole Miss fraternity boy blush.

I am huge in Sheboygan. Huge. Just ask them about "Those Southern Boys" at Dave's Who's Inn.

-LSU vs Bama down on the Bayou. I'm a weird SEC fan that probably considers LSU my 2nd favorite team in the SEC, and I would love nothing more than to watch that whoopin live and in person.

-USC vs. Ohio State. I hate both of these teams but it's undeniable that in recent times they've been two of the more consistent powerhouse squads out there.

I'm going to go old school here and go with Notre Dame and USC at the Coliseum. I know USC will likely kick their ***, but still, it's one of the great rivalries in the game and two of the traditionally big time programs.

SEC game would be Bama and Clemson in Atlanta because that kind of is a throw back to the days when some of the SEC teams would play games at neutral sites, but at the same time it's in one of my favorite more modern stadiums, the Georgia Dome. Also, it would be fun to pull for Clemson to beat the crap out of Bama. I think that will be a good close game that could go either way.

I'm going to give honorable mention to the Army/Navy game. I think it would be cool to experience that, and there's something about the fact that the players aren't worried about their draft status and play because they like the game. Not to mention all of the pagentry.

If you're talking SEC only game, in case I misunderstood, I would go with LSU/Bama in Baton Rouge (after hanging out in NOLA the day before of course) because this will be the first time that Saban gets to go to Death Valley, and I'm almost 100% sure that this will be a night game and the **** will hit the fan. I would wear a yellow or purple shirt and a hard hat for my own personal safety along with safety goggles.

I'll throw a loop in here, because I'm seriously thinking of making this trip this year

Army @ Texas AM

Always wanted to visit A&M, and think it would be neat to see a traditional service academy play at A&M,
maybe I'll run into Jackie...

SEC-Matchup.. hmm, I have done UM-LSU during the Eli cant beat them years, AU-UF 2 years ago when UF won it all..amazing game, Seeing Bama lose to anyone makes me happy but not something I would drive across the state line back home to see,
I would have to say... UGA @ LSU this season. ..8th game of the season, both teams will be in very high standings, you know its going to be a night game and the stadium will be raucous and rocking.

and I'll side with Porkchop--a big Wisconsin game. Camp Randall and Madison is something I've always wanted to see.

Saban returning to Baton Rouge. Those coonasses should reach a new level of debauchery.

Out of conference, I've always wanted to go to Oklahoma/Texas.

I think the fact that its played in the Cotton Bowl was a dealbreaker for me. I really want to be on campus. That's why I'll never think much of Williams-Brice. The Fairgrounds? really?

I did some graduate work up there. The lake is nice and the street leading up to the capitol is hopping.

Even still, I have no reason ever to go back.

Ohio State - Michigan in the Horseshoe

The Iron Bowl

On a side note, the abosolute best setting for a college football game on a fall afternoon is Chapel Hill NC. Prettiest campus in America.

Mine would be Alabama-LSU and Ohio State-Michigan. My main reason for going to the OSU-UM game would be just to see what all the fuss was about. Alabama-LSU for obvious reasons...Death Valley will be in rare form.

USC-UCLA, Los Angeles would be a cool post game place to be.

Any Hawaii home game, see above reason.

filled the stadium. May be Division 1-AA level football, but the pageantry of the cadets, plus knowing those guys on the field will be defending our country.

I would choose OSU-Mich also. Because of the history. Also, I have been by the Horseshoe while in Columbus on business just to check it out. It is a very, very nice stadium. Big, old stadium with alot of nostalgia but well preserved with upgrades to make it a great stadium to watch a game. Nice campus as well.

SEC game .....I could care less about any of them that doesn't involve State. However, maybe the Iron Bowl to see if it is as intense as a Egg Bowl. It would be fun to be in Fayetteville for Nutt's return. That will be zoo.
