Wow....that is brutal. Every third comment has the word hooker in it. And the rest are not nice either. This is going over like a turd in the punch bowl
Lots of things become turds on Twitter, but Freeze is a deserving turd.
Freeze within a month there.
Freeze felt so strongly that MSU fans sabotaged his tenure at Ole Miss that he was driven to coach Alabama’s rival.
The comments on the official Auburn tweet are brutal, majority of Auburn fans seem un-happy. For Freeze‘s sake he better win the SEC the very first year, because a good portion of their alumni base already hates him.
Hmm are they now known as Hooker U? Wonder if there’s a mascot change in the works.
Will this be the first time in recorded history that a new coach will NOT win the press conference?

I don't think they considered the long term brand impact this will have on the Auburn brand.
I'm guessing social media isn't going to let up on this. Maybe it'll blow over like they hope in a few days. I personally don't think that it will

Why? You realize his role in the LU situation was only sending creepy, tone-deaf DMs to her? This circumstance will in no way affect his job at the barn. If he wins, he'll be loved, if he loses, he'll be on a short lease. If he becomes too much a torn in Bama's side, they will uncover all his sins. Twitter and message boards are not real life.

less than 24 hours in and I think we might have another Mike Price type hire. Now that he's at Auburn and has a bigger spot light you gotta assume the real dirt will come out. The entire escort situation was never really revealed. All we ever really know is that he made a call, thats it.

One thing's for certain: Auburn has lost all claim to "doing things the right way" like they've always tried to cram down everyone's throats. When you have Bruce Pearl and Hugh Freeze on staff, you don't get to say that anymore.
