I heard about it on the radio yesterday. Highly rated kid signee from Iowa. Redshirted his first year, then realized he didn't really fit into the Wisconsin scheme (maybe he wants to play on a team that doesn't score 50 per game). Ryan and the school are releasing him from his scholarship, but NOT to any school in the Big Ten, ACC (??), or Iowa State or Marquette. WTF? Why forbid him from the ACC or a home state school that's not even in your conference?

In other news, I hope Rick Ray is all over that kid.

Was defensive, and actually played the "Well Mike, you wouldn't understand since you didn't play" card.

Basically said everyone else does it so why the big deal for him to do it. Just came across like an absolute *******.

Cowherd is absolutely crushing Ryan right now.

because of the Big 10 - ACC challenge game played every year and Ryan can't be sure which ACC schools they will play over the next few years. I can understand not wanting a kid to transfer to another league school that you will be competing with for a league title but to eliminate a kid from transferring to a whole different entire league because of one preconference game is totally asinine.
