This thread and others like it are the the most ignorant threads created. Acknowledging the gifts of an incredible athlete (Jackson), does not make one a "slurper" as one airhead eloquently put it. It means some people are able to be impartial and recognize talent when they see it.
Some people on here really need to grow up or have their heads examined....then again it's amusing watching some make complete asses of themselves.

Given I was the one who created the thread, you may recall the crux of the post was the idea of switching allegiances based on the polar performances of two instate programs.

While I don't agree necessarily in a post season bump of this thread, i hope whoever has done the bandwagon hop is feeling the effects of it .

Let's just suppose this entire gambit we've been discussing is basketball-related, with UofL having superstar version(s) of Jackson. Would you feel the same?

IF they had a player in basketball the caliber of Jackson in football, I would recognize the kid accordingly. They actually had a kid a couple years back that was good (not Jackson good) a little guard, that was a classy kid. Not many people that play for UofL I will acknowledge but when they do have that kid come through that shows class and skill, I'll acknowledge it.

I remember watching Francisco Garcia when he played for the Cards Definitely not against us, but I wanted to see what he was capable of. He was a pretty lanky and agile dude

Wasn't him, I couldn't stand him. This was a little dude that was genuine and I remember him being well thought of by many UK fans.
