Consider this: USM just lost to Texas State 22-15....AT HOME. I'm kinda worried about some of those guys based on their posts.....

My friend is a writer for their Rivals site. All summer he's been talking about the head coach's success with various QB's at OSU and what-not and how bad TSU is. I saw his play by play via twitter and I genuinely feel bad for the guy. It's like someone shot his dog.
They had something like 21 total rushing yards at halftime and 18 going into the 4th.
At least MSU has never lost 13 straight following a conference championship. That would be the lowest of the low.

WKU has become a pretty decent program, so you can't really compare them to TSU. WKU has had a better HC than MSU for like 3 or 4 years now.
Having never won a conference championship would be worse than that. You aren't smart.
Losing a bunch in a row like we have done without a conference championship sucks pretty bad.

Winning that conference championship was the worst thing that's ever happened to USM. Win the conference, lose the coach, overpay for another who goes 0-12 in his only season before getting fired, and lose so much money on the football program that you have to discontinue using Nike uniforms and get Croom-esk Russell jerseys that look nothing like your previous, traditional and nice looking jerseys... no thanks. I'd rather hover around the positive side of 6-6 in the bottom of the SEC than that, and when you're not trying to be internet cool you can at least admit that getting that high you can only get by winning a conference championship and feeling positive about your school vs your rivals can only make going 0-13 worse.
If MSU went 0-13 it would absolutely suck, but at least it wouldn't be erasing a conference championship. It would just be getting worse than we already were...
