1.
Bost was downright terrible. Someone, like a coach for instance, needs to inform him that one of the strengths of our team this year is that we have a good number of folks who can score. There is no excuse for Dee to go 0-whatever it was from three this evening. Speaking of Coach Stans not playing D. Smith to startthe second half nor subbing him in quickly, I saw Dee refuse to pass the ball out to Deville, who was wide open every time, on about 4 different occassions.
2. That was very bad. Sid and Smith were hot, yet we didn't do a lot (specifically with set plays) to feed either. Dee is oftentaken out of the game bystronger more aggressive play (think of the first time someone hammered Rayvern......he was done for the rest of the game, every time) or quicker smaller guards (think of that guy from Washington, or that midget earlier in the year from Troy or Detroit, or Polynice from Ark).
3. Bad job coaching, we have to be better prepared than that. Grant @ Alabama will have us gameplanned very well in the first matchup, same with Donovan, but I bet we give them all hell...including Arkansas the second time around.
4. Something is wrong with this "team" I wonder if we were a better unit during the European trip with Smith playing more min @ the point and Sidney simply absent. I know Sidney is NBA talent......blah, blah, blah.......but we were just awful tonight and although he hit a couple of nice threes and rebounded fairly well, I wonder if he is a distraction to the point of really hurting team chemistry. This was a worry of mine before the season even began.
5. Do we ever have a play drawn up.......humor me here, I knowwe don't run plays..........to feed either Lewis or Moultrie down low? Bothare prettycapable.
6. Officiating was **** too.
Something has to change. We are better than what we saw tonight.
