Klubnick was as good. His stats was 27/36 for 385 and 2 TDwhat were your thoughts on the Duke QB Darian Mensah?
I thought he was pretty darn impressive.
You're not allowed to say this. Choke yourself! All I know is they got jobbed on that PI call.
One is a Senior Heisman candidate the other is a redshirt sophomore transfer from Tulane.Klubnick was as good. His stats was 27/36 for 385 and 2 TD
Mensa was 27/41 for 361 and 4 TD
I don’t think they did at all.All I know is they got jobbed on that PI call.
NCAA really has to look at centralizing officiating.
And fwiw the prior play should have been defensive holding. IIrc the yardage from that would have given Duke a first down anyway.
Yeah, everybody is looking at the end of the play. The receiver was held far prior to that. Clearly. They may have missed the holding call in favor of Clemson and they may have missed the PI in favor of Duke, but the result would have been exactly the same had they gotten both calls correct.
I was the Troy game. That first half couldn’t have gone any better. That is about the most irate a group of fans I have ever been around. It was pure entertainment.I'm just glad the play and the call happened like it did. I hope the Clemson fans and Dabo lose sleep and stew over it for years.
I also love that they only have one home win this season, Troy. That home winning streak they were so proud of sure did blow up in a big way. If FSU beats them Saturday, their only two home wins this season might be Troy and Furman.
One will probably beat us. Sad but trueOne is a Senior Heisman candidate the other is a redshirt sophomore transfer from Tulane.
One missed open receivers repeatedly and looked really flustered and the other was quite poised and in command of the offense.
One lost a homecoming game and the other won his team's first victory on that field since 1980.
Probably is One of those words that you don't bet own.One will probably beat us. Sad but true

Keep your chin up.
I don't know if there was PI but he was definitely held by the Clemson player during his route. I can't remember if that would have given Duke a first down, but it was absolutely a penalty. Clemson was doing it all gameAll I know is they got jobbed on that PI call.

I thought that it was defensive holding from almost the very beginning. But the minute the QB throws the ball, it becomes PI. I think that's what happened here.I don’t think they did at all.
The defender made contact with the receiver and impeded his progress through the whole route practically, then when the receiver tried to cut to the inside they got all kinds of tangled and the defender fell backwards and gave the impression of OPI. Me and the commentator who was clamoring for OPI were having an invisible argument, thought the refs got that right for a change.

Incredibly unbelievable. You know their talent isn't as bad as that performance.Neither defense was a steel curtain. Terrible defenses make qbs look good.
I've been shocked at how bad Clemson's defense is this season.
After that push-off in 2000 when we played them up there, I don't care how bad they get screwed or how often.
Perhaps they are ill-suited to this environment.Me either but some here are hurting over it.
