They have a cool little memorial there, and also be sure to visit Stadium View memorabilia store across the street. The owner is cool, they have some great old stuff, and he gives you a free Bud Light just for coming in.

Also, the Rosenblatt memorial is pretty much the best wiffleball field ever built. Our group hopes to get a game up later if anyone is interested......

That's awesome. I wish I was up there, I'd be up for a game. I don't suppose you could take some pictures of the old park and the memorial and post on here, could you?

Just got back from Zoo and Rosenblatt...

And the memorial was neat but somewhat sad. Have a mini field, but home plate and 2 foul poles are in original spots. Was here the last year in old stadium 2010. New stadium is definitely fan friendly but the memories will have to be made.

certainly a smell of corn dogs in the air up here today.

Side note: staying in the UNC team hotel and they all look like they're in town for a funeral now. Never seen so many long faces than I did 30 min ago in lobby. I wanted to say you lucky SOB's just better thank God you even got to make the trip.
