Kevin Durant is the truth. They lucked out getting him and Westbrook. I don't think they'll ever leave each other... which means they'll never leave OKC.

I'm headed to OKC for work next week. I think I might swing by a Thunder game. I saw them play Denver last year. I think that's the loudest sporting event I've ever been in. Certainly the loudest professional event.

Say what you will about the NBA under Stern's leadership but they did a great job of making sure the NBA was in towns with only 1 other pro sport or in towns big enough to support a random team. OKC is big, but big enough for 1 sport... they wouldn't give 2 ***** about hockey and football would always be 2nd fiddle... yet basketball is enough to sell capacity and it was a good enough team already in Seattle to bring momentum. It's everything NOLA wished it had been before they brought them over and lost all their best players because of mismanagement.

I've never been but I've heard OKC is pretty great. I was always afraid they'd steal my team.

I left OKC last night. Was pissed I missed tonight's matchup by 24 hours. Helluva game tonight.

By far and away the loudest stadium I've ever seen a game was this year at CenturyLink in Seattle. It's absurd how loud it is. You can not talk to the person sitting right next to you. You have to get in their ear and scream. It's really really ridiculous. I will never watch a game their again without earplugs. I had a headache for a day after that game. It's not good when you're 30 decibels above causing hearing damage. All of Seattle is going to be deaf in 30 years. The roof traps the sound and bounces it back on top of you.

NBA quote of the night

@Rachel__Nichols: Touché RT @mcten: Rajon Rondo on Kobe calling him an "*******": "That's a great compliment coming from Kobe. I feel the same way about him"

I like that comeback enough to steal it.
