IHL finalizes Cotton Mill

Great news. Still a lot of wasted space from the back of the Cotton Mills to the Buffalo a Wild a Wings area. Hopefully one day that'll happen, but probably a ways away.
What happened to various restaurants and shopping centers? I'm guessing the hotel and parking area replaced it.
This version of the development was scaled back from the original developer's plans which initially included restaurants and retail. I don't think it's out of this deal altogether, just one phase at a time. Hotel, conference center, office space, and a parking garage. After all that is done, I'm sure restaurants and retail will follow. Also trying to work a deal with MDOT to change the Russell Street/Highway 12 intersection and add a pedestrian walkway to University Drive rather than having people cross Highway 12 on game day.
