Disagree. The burger with the fried egg on top is not too shabby. Good food for cheap.

It's right up there with Denny's

Truck stop food. Sometimes pretty good, but far from an elegant place. Not a bad place for breakfast.

If it wasn't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year and a half in college

At that price point what do you expect?

I bet the college students will hate having a cheap breakfast place close to campus**

Why would you want an IHOP to be worth a ****?

Isn't that part of the attraction? Good solid low-grade bad food with awful service?

It at least has to be edible...

the last few times I've eaten at IHOP I paid $10 for something that was called an omelet. I will admit that the pancakes aren't bad, but I don't do sweets in the morning. I agree that most of the time that you get what you pay for but I had much rather eat a chick fila chicken and biscuit, Hardee's biscuit or even McDonald's breakfast for less than $4.00 than eat the **** that IHOP serves. IHOP is like Shoney's buffet served out of the kitchen. And by the way, Denny's ain't that bad....

that is worth a ****. That is all.

I agree, we need another breakfast place on par with Starkville Cafe, that place is always packed. Tyler has brunch on lock down but for your regular eggs and bacon crowd that Barnhills spot wouldn't be a bad one.

Also I'd love to see a Cracker Barrel out by the La Quinta and Hilton.

I prefer Waffle House over IHOP, myself. Regardless, it is a significant...

upgrade from Barnhills.

Like going from Red Lobster to Mary Mahoney's type of upgrade.

Barnhill's was that bad.

Go to an IHOP during off-peak hours and you'll get a satisfying meal for cheap. Most people seem to make the same mistakes with restaurants I find. 1. They visit a restaurant within the first month it opens and 2. they frequent the restaurant when it's at it's most busiest time of the day. If you're going for the social event than that's best but if you're going for the food than you should NEVER go at these times. The staff is overworked and just wants to get the next plate out as fast as possible and the quality goes out the window. So if you're the type of person that always seems to go when the restaurant is on a "wait" just know you're getting a product at less than what it is intended usually.

Hode up

Are you implying there are people who will wait to get into an IHOP?

Probably less expensive than the cafeteria, and I know it's better. Ate breakfast there at one game last year and it left a lot to be desired.

I'd rather have a Friendlys. Crappy food, great ice cream. Yes I was born in Connecticut, how did you know?
