It will get a lot of pub but not sure it was the pub we wanted. It will definitely help Lamar and his Heisman campaign but not sure it helps our playoff hopes. The positive is we won against a very determined team and there are still several games to be played that will determine playoff. Tuesday's rankings are very preliminary, much will change.

Today could be a great day. WVU lost, and Texas looks spirited so far against Baylor. I bet Charlie helps us out and gives Baylor a loss today.

Maybe Worshington will lose too

It will be better publicity than what WVU, Baylor, and Worshington will get after they all lose today.

And you can't win with your detractors. You either blew out a bad team---big deal--or you almost lost to a bad team. Doesn't matter what you do.

I subscribe to the Hollywood theory that there's no such thing as bad publicity...

Old Charlie called a timeout when Baylor was out of timeouts right before halftime and gave Baylor a chance to score a TD before the half...

Undefeated Baylor and WVU both lost. Undefeated #7 Nebraska is now losing by 10. Turning out to be a good day, checking several boxes that need checked for the CFP to happen.
