I’m trying to find the NFHS rule on Illegal man down field on a punt. Any input?

no such rule. all can release on the snap. unless it was a fake and a pass was thrown.

no such rule , you won't find anything in the rule book about it one way or the other.
Only thing in the book about ineligible receivers is in the passing rules.
And that is because you can only have an ineligible on a passing play
