Schiano's first two years. Cubit's kid started at qb first year. Us fans wanted a change and eventually got the change to Ryan Hart.

I just saw some highlights of this game. What the heck was Riley thinking. It looked like he was on the Illinois 27 with 3rd and 7 and 1 minute to play. He threw the ball on 3rd down for an incomplete and then went for it on 4th down and threw another incomplete pass. Illinois had no timeouts. Why would you throw it? Just run the ball and kill most of the time left with maybe 15 seconds left at most. Instead they left Illinois with about 50 seconds on the clock. Two throws?

I've said Riley is a square peg round hole there, especially with this qb. They can look good at times on offense but at best I think he'll produce Pelini results and likely won't be as good. It's a transition year but I don't know how good he'll eventually end up doing there.
