He might be that great FCS coach that FBS schools may not find "flashy" enough and end up in Normal for 15 years....

I understand WIU more than EIU. The OVC is weak. The MVFC is the SEC of the FCS football. They played Coastal Carolina and Illinois in Non Cons. Pretty impressive schedule if you ask me.

I would think Spack would be the natural replacement at Purdue when that guy gets let go. He played there and coached there for years. Only makes sense...Illinois should go after him! Screw PJ Fleck!

Airfare booked to Dallas already.

Don't love that all five MVFC teams are in the same half of the bracket, but glad my 'Birds are in the best position of the five to get to suburban Dallas on Jan. 9.

Yep. No change fees for the flights, so seemed like a no-brainer to do it now in case they make it. $79 each way.

Spack was passed over for Danny Hope so I don't think he is in a big hurry to go back there!
