Let me list off here why I say this:

1. There are too many posters with a form of Coach, 34, or both in their name.

2. Use of his catch phrases.. I'll use "in Mullen we trust" and "the recruiter" as examples.

3. Biggest reason is some of the retarded comments after we win games. Instead of being critical of the game, there is at LEAST 2 C34 threads either calling him out for his agenda, or trying to piss him off by saying he wanted us to lose. Whether he feels that way or not, I've never in my life seen more retarded arguments come from anything else than the ones that come from us winning or losing a basketball game

I'm not defending or flaming him, but I'll say this: compared to years past, he's been relatively quiet and supportive this year. He's been critical, yes, but I have too.. But damn.. I've never seen more obsession from people trying to start **** with him than this year. It's unbelievable.

Rant over.

will be the first to be told they are wrong when things go wrong. But when coach is right, he has the right to say I told you so as well. Just the nature of coach being a loudmouth.

He calls people morons for thinking other than what he does. Then, when he is proven wrong, he crawfishes or changes his argument...or denies it altogether. The truth is, neither he nor the supporters are 100% right. The truth lies in the middle.

You already know we're going dancing. But how high do you think we will make it both with and without Stansbury (pick any coach you want, only constant is the talent).

I justdecided not toread only thisyear. We are having a really good year so far byanyone but 10-15programs' standards. We are not nor have we ever been at those programs' levelexcept for possibly a few short years under Babe McCarthy.34 never has anything but negatives to say even this year. If you listened only to him you world think we are the worst team in the history of the NCAA. We might HAVE been that back in the mid80's.We nearly reverted to that in the couple of years after 1996. We aren't now. That is in large part due to Stansbury. He had a large part in 1996 as well. The unrelenting negative stuff is unwarrantedand counter productive, especially THIS year.

it's the "opinion" posts that opens them up to being called idiots... <div>
</div><div>Like SHS's post today in the 2nd half- and it was during the 2nd half- he said the officiating was slanted toward Auburn- yet Auburn had been called for more fouls...and Auburn was the more aggressive team all day- they kept getting into the lane, we couldnt keep them out. The most aggressive team usually gets fouled the most</div><div>
</div><div>His post was opinion- not factual- thereby opening himself up to criticism</div>

their rhetoric based on three games. I can think of two. If we win three games in the NCAA tournament Coach should have to take a hiatus, he won't because he would remind us how some Mid-Major up and comer would have got us to the Final Four with our talent but hopefully at that point HD6 comes back like a Phoenix rising from the ashes to layeth the smack down. The other would be Triton. If Mullen beats Hudspeth by sixty, three times in a row.

I give him no credit because when it comes to basketball it is all negative from him. The little boy who cried wolf stuff you know, but in reverse. He DID have a point some years. His obvious dismay that we are winning this year in spite ofthe team'sand Stan's faults is entertaining. Stan's is far from perfect, but he has been a good coach for us. I'm not ready to Cutcliff him yet.

it's all one game boyo, not two. When you are coaching I guess you never take into account what was done in the first half when coaching the second. You would have NEVER said something at half timelike" They are calling it tight on you boys, be aware of that? I also guess your players wouldn't have noticed it either? I could have been clearer but when I explained it you could have perhaps understood my point, at least a bit? Now I realize that I'm not as critical of Stans as you would like so I guess I'm not on your approved list. I'll tell you this, IF we had repeated last year I would have kept quiet again or even been right with you.Perhaps you mightremember you probably never noticed me till recently? I wasn't after youearly on this season. But Stans has done a good job this year so far. There werelot of parts to this contraption that had to come together if we were going to do anything. It may be Rube Goldberg stuffand running rough but it's still moving along rather decently so far. Stans HAS to get some credit for that if he gets TOTAL credit for everything bad that happens.

Our Depth is an issue, but we did go to a Final Four with a 2 Guard playing point so I guess there's hope.

a monster in the middle, the best shooting guard we have had in the three point era,a great role player, a wild card with insane talent who just totally went off at the right time, and a couple of subs who could usually be relied on for some solid minutes.That2 guard was a bull too. They ALL busted their butts on defence too, even the wild card (eventually). This team is a good team, but it's not in that one's league. Getting to the Sweet 16 would be a major accomplisment for them. I don't really think we are capable of it. Neither does 34, hence his mantra.

How would you know he had been negative this year when you aren't reading his posts this year?

"I've read his basketball rants for years...I just decided not to read only this year."

"34 never has anything but negatives to say even this year."

Personally I think you are full of ****.

but so many people are hell bent on taking any little shot they can at him or are only posting to be able to prove him wrong on something and it turns into retarded arguments. It gets old... but there's no doubt he gets people fired up and talking. <div>
</div><div>Not to mention all the people who have coach or 34 in their handles...</div>

We lost to Ark Little Rock started 3-4 in SEC play including an 18 point loss to KY and a 12 point loss to Arkansas. We averaged somewhere north of 15 TO's a game. I don't know where this team will end up all I can tell you is if this board were alive in 1996, people would have blasted Russel Walters, Dontae Jones, Marcus Bullard, and Whit Hughes.

Coach 34 would have us go down the Rebel football path. I agree that Stans was on the hot seat going into this year. But so far you have to give him credit for turning it around this year, esp if he gets the blame for the last two. 34 won't do that.
