Texas AM has always folded like clockwork. That being said I cant see them doing it against this version of the Gamecocks.

I'm safely assuming the OP was being sarcastic. Last year's team as good as they were would have struggled to win in College Station. Yes, we whipped them in Columbia. This year in College Station? No chance in hades.

I can see it happening. aTm is well known for inexplicable losses when they look like they are going to make some noise and a loss to SC would be very inexplicable. Also, the gamecocks generally have one big upset a year and this would be a prime candidate for that to happen.

we are holding to that "one big upset win a year" wild card for all we're worth

Our fans: Game's not even here yet and the refs have already missed 5 blatant holding by A&M.
I can assure you, the refs will miss at least 5 blatant holding calls. There is holding on almost every play. My prediction is they will not call the blatant holds on A&M and will probably hit us with a couple of phantom holding calls to bring back big gains by our offense.

I remember a game a year or so ago where we broke off a 40 yard run. After the player was tackled, there was a late flag thrown and they called us for holding at the line of scrimmage.... All of the replays shown on TV showed literally nothing. The announcers were perplexed as well as the "special rules" commentator. It just happens...

This basically happens literally every game, with every team. It has nothing to do with A&M, but with the state of officiating.

I don't believe, though, that we are disproportionately targeted by missed holding calls.

I agree. Like I said, its just the state/nature of officiating. We just perceive that its blatant against us because we only notice when it is against us. I am sure the fans of _____ (name "your" team) all say the same thing... All exempt Georgia, who do literally get every call and up until this year, Clemson who always seemed to have a lucky horseshoe up their butt. :)

It's the one place replay should absolutely be allowed. They should actually take it out of the hands of the on-field officials.

The inverse is true for us; we are well known for inexplicable wins.

I stand corrected. I'm taking the weirdos and giving the points. How is that? Either way we don't cover. I swore after the Oklahoma game I'd take every team with the points here on out. Surprisingly I am even.
Watch......we're gonna look like a different team. Massive tumors have been removed.

There are missed and phantom holding calls in every game. It isn't a SC hate thing. Officiating will never be perfect

I hope we don't win. That would only guarantee Shane would keep the offensive staff intact when it needs to completely blown up.
