I've tried and tried. Maybe I'm just a quitter but I get so tired of this same bullcrap almost every year. It's disappointing putting in money and time and getting an average to below average product on the field. Just completely apathetic at this point.

Starting to debate driving 5 hours to see Alcorn. Would be my 3rd home game to miss in about 6 years.

Buddy,

I've been watching this excrement since the 80s. The coaches change. The players change but the results rarely do. If anything, the SEC has separated itself even further from us. We lost and lost in the 80s and caught lighting in a bottle a few time in the 90s. But for the most part, we are out athleted every year. We can't bring in the players because of location, weak political position in conference and we can't play the recruiting game. We can't because of the aforementioned political strength. I mean how ridiculous.....Olemiss buys and buys players from Devinner. We sign one Devinner player and go on probation. Alabama brings in players from all over the country to that **** hole Tuscaloosa. We can barely hang on to one raw talent a few miles up te road. Yeah, let MSU fans call you a quitter, but everybody else in the country will understand. 17 it.

457th verse, same as the first. really disappointed in the coaching staff. its really not the players fault we lost. we just eventually succumbed to superior coordinators on both sides of the ball. sorry guys that wanted collins to be a defensive savant. the results dont back that up. the elite teams are going to run a train on us AGAIN and we will be lucky to outscore good middle-of-the-road teams. i know that sucks to hear, but collins is just middle of the road. the sooner you accept that fact, the better.

really ****** day all the way around.

I'll be there next week and expect to win (after all, it's Alcorn State). We'll see what next year brings with the reseating of club level. If I get screwed there I may just stay at home and watch on television.

I feel sorry for all the folks who spent good money to travel to Houston and then had to witness this mess. Unless we get on a win steak, I won't be headed to Starkville for any more football games for a while. I really thought when we brought Dan Mullen in back in 2009, we would see a change in the way things get done for the football team. But its the same story, different coach.
