I'm just enjoying this year for the moment BUT...

is anyone besides me wondering what in the heck we are going to do on the interior next year in basketball? I'm not sure based on what I've seen if Reik is the answer and who knows the long term health of Bailey and whether Sidney will ever be declared eligible or come back to school even if he is. Wendell Lewis has some nice upside but we better enjoy Jarvis this year because I'm seeing quite a dropoff for our post game next year.

I think we'll be OK, but there's no way after Jarvis we weren't going to see a dropoff.

Offensively won't change much b/c Jarvis isn't anything special on offense. But defense will indeed suffer.

Next year could be Rick's worst defensive team ever. I think we're going to have to play a lot of zone.

in the early signing rather than going after another center. Heck, Reik's knees could go out again at any time and I doubt Bailey (whose smallish as a center anyway) will ever be the same.

On the interior next year we can rotate Augustus, Osby, Riek, Bailey and Lewis while selling playing time to the big boys in MS. My guess is Rick isn't going to waste a scholarship that could be used on the class of 2011 with those guys coming back.

If thats the case, then id like Rick to keep whatever is up his sleeve hidden...with the safety on.
