the basketball team. It has been a bad year no doubt! But this board is getting awful. I use to like coming here and reading some good info. Now it seems we are just looking for something to complain about. We could have been in the NCAA tourney and got to the sweet sixteen and lost that game and SOME of you that don't know the difference between a men's and women's basket would still complain (and you know who you are). Like I have always been told if you can't say anything good about someone don't say nothing at all. If some would do that I could come here and read the post that use to be on here. I don't mean this for the sports minded people on here, this is for the ones that have never played a sport and do not have any idea. I support the DOGS in good and bad, some of you aren't happy unless you are complaining!

7. Comments on coaching and or playing are welcome no matter what your experience level in any sport.

I was as mad as most of you after last Thursday night but It's been four days since the game and we are still complaining. We are even dogging Scott for not firing Rick and there is still a season to finish. If you can't support the BULLDOGS there is a grove up north you can stand in while a sporting event is going on.

best. You want non-stop sunshine pumping you should read genespage. Scott has failed to fire Rick and made a questionable lady-dawgs basketball hire. He has taken two steps back this week.

You don't like what you are "reading" anymore on the message board and believe it is too negative. Why not start a thread about something that you would like to read about? Wouldn't that be more effective than coming here to complain about all of the complaining?

Do I want us to win tonight? Hell yes.. Do I still want Scott to fire Stans? Hell yes...
I do support Our Bulldogs, and most people on this board are sick and tired of the product our Men's basketball coach has been putting on the floor the past few years. What's wrong with expecting a better product and a coach who actually demands a little respect from his players, and his teams hustle and play defense. Not to mention, he actually run a real offense.
I could go on and on, but I won't since you can't bear to read anymore criticism. If you don't like it here, then don't come here, how about that..

Getting a high profile assistant from the defending national champs has not only been seen as a good hire, but one we were lucky to get. Reading from his day 1 interviews, this is a coach that fits the Mullen/Cohen/Stuedeman(softball)/Nilsson(men's tennis) mold.

Stricklin is doing fine by me. In his few hires thus far, he hired Dudley, the current track and field head coach, that has our guys #6 in the country right now, and Stuedeman, who has our softball dawgs with a surprisingly hot start.

Byrne brought us Mullen, Cohen, and Hazlewood, and that's a tough act to follow, but give Stricklin a chance. I have faith he'll do the right thing as far as Stans's future is concerned.
