1) 14-11? You must think Kodi is going to go deep!

2) If Stans were coaching, you would pick us to lose.

3) Did you tease it?

4) Are you at 80% on baseball bets?

5) If we cover but lose, is that still a win?

You choice six packers. I can't decide.

However, if we do win then I reserve the right to claim that Cohen won because he did it my way.

ULM is trying to break the all time attendance record tonight. I am here right now and there are students already in the parking lot. They are giving away free pizza trying to get people here. Hopefully, we aren't walking into a hornets nest tonight.

ULM was more fundamentally sound team. Can't field a bunt x 2. Picked off 2nd. Atkins has no confidence at the plate. How is he the #2 hitter?

The only thing worse than losing to ULM is hearing ULM trashtalk our team and we deserved it.
MSU has not done well in Northeast LA. First, the 9th inning implosion at Tech in baseball a couple of years ago. Followed by the Tech football game. Now this.

C34, Stansbury is the least of the problems at MSU right now.</p>

and I remember seeing the field and thinking "This is where THAT happened".

In some ways, I think that was "the beginning of the end" in terms of a lot of the sheep with Polk. Before that, they were all talking about "Wait till Polk gets his players in", and of course those WERE his players, and as you said we were #1, and we basically hung Valentine out to dry. Valentine was not that bad before that, but I don't think he ever recovered from that one outing. I feel bad for Valentine. He had to know that he had nothing left in the gas tank, and I'm sure he felt absolutely helpless. Honestly, and I'm very competitive as a person, but I have to believe that if it was me, and I saw no one in the bullpen and the coaches not even thinking about coming out to get me, I would have to fake an injury or something, only to try to keep my team from losing. What Polk did to him that night was utterly disgusting.

I have played ball with Luke my whole life, and he looks the same way at the plate now as he did at 14. He has always been very calm and relaxed at the plate, more so than pretty much any player I've ever seen. It's almost like he's in slow motion with his movements. Maybe he's just really focused, but I can promise it's not a lack of confidence. He's probably the best hitter on the team and when he gets on a roll, watch out.
