The 3 and 4 seeds are in the winners bracket in the cross regional. We are the higher 3. If we do come out of Tallahassee and Oregon State doesn't come up through the losers bracket, we will likely host Southern Cal.

That's why Vanderbilt got to host over us in 2018. If bids meant anything, it would have gone to Starkville, but the committee had Vanderbilt seeded higher than us from the beginning, so they got it.

They don’t seed 1-64. If they did why would the site selection criteria call for the teams to bid to host if the two #1 seeds both lose?
