I'm seeing a lot of 8-4 predictions for WVU this fall

[QUOTE="pressvirginia, post: 129619597, member: 1348623"] agree depends largely on what's done in conference & notching a significant win or two. & even at that, I'd still be mindful of total body of work - esp in league play - instead of 2016 only. last year 8 wins, but none signature or ranked. although the bowl was an exciting shootout, the best win I thought was beating Mahomes & Texas Tech (7-6). contract thing is pretty touchy subject and admittedly tough situation, but if more time is earned, even if a modest amount, to me it should be paired with a buyout this time no matter preferences of coach & agent. WVU controls the job opportunity and money that are both desired. plus we don't know from the outside who else may be attainable if it comes to that. that part could easily shape the decision.
