and I can't help but notice that MSU is twice as athletic as Purdue. If we can get some help in the post (Riek, Sidney, Lewis gaining experience) we're gonna be hell to handle.

Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Boston College, and Texas A&M have all gone out to Los Angeles and played UCLA for the Wooden Classic in past seasons. Just sayin...

Bama did well in getting a series with Purdue, and I hope we can do the same with major teams in the years to come. But there's no use in mocking our decision to travel to Los Angeles without a return trip, considering the programs who have done it before us.

Bbbb...but I thought the SEC was a 6th rate conference EVERY year? No way we could have three teams in the top ten and a middle of the road team from the WEST beating the #5 team!!!

that playing in these tournaments doesn't bother me. But the idea that we will just go on the road one or two games a year to play a North Carolina or Michigan State and never expect a return game bothers me a lot. And that's what Coach was pushing for awhile back.

We need better home games in the non-conference.

This week was a good week though. Two games in three days on national television. Five thousand miles of traveling. Two blowouts. We might not end up being a better team because of it, but we should. Wright State is better than UCLA. It'll be our third straight game in front of a national audience. I think you're under more pressure at home when it's on TV than you are on the road. I'm looking forward to seeing how we come out.
