I'm so glad Lucas Glover won.

It was inspiring watching him blister the course with three over par final round. The way he kept his emotions in check with his glazed over, I'm gonna **** my pants facial expression was truly a nod to the all time greats and the game itself. Some people may have enjoyed Tiger, Phil, and Duval firing up the crowds with late birdies. Some people might have felt the same pain as them as well when they blatantly expressed disappointment that their come back bids fell short. Me? I thought it was shameful and a disgrace to golf enthusiasts everywhere.

So congrats to Lucas Glover. I'm now going to go take up a hobby as exciting as the finish of this US Open. Something like knitting maybe.

Oh, I'm also glad he looks like me. That makes it better I think.

over golf.

Listen, I enjoy playing (or tryin to play) golf, but I find watching golf on TV to be excruciating. Waiting for the players to finish their "rituals" as they addess the ball is as tiresome as watching some MLB batters adjust both batting gloves, knock the (imagined) dirt from their spikes, adjust their cup, and cross themselves before EVERY SINGLE pitch. Except for the fact that not every MLB batter does this as does every PGA player.

Soccer is much more interesting to watch if you take the time to learn the rules(much fewer than FB, BB, BKB, and golf) and a few of the strategies used in most games/matches.

I'll have to take your word on it. The only time I played soccer was in jr high during a gym class. The coach made us play it. Just not my bag as golf is not for others.

You would've loved yesterday's game. It was an absolute *** kicking at the hands of the Americans. It can be very entertaining once you understand the game.
