1:30 in the fkng morning. Sat in fkng traffic longer than I ever have in fkng Starkville for a fkng game of any kind. Left the fkng game and went straight to the car and finally got on Hwy. 25 at fkng 10:30. I honestly believe I am more pissed tonight than I ever have been in 40 years of following these dickheads. I am going to admit, here and now, that I was in full favor of hiring this idiot when Sherrill retired. I actually said numerous times---"We need to head straight to Green Bay, as soon as possible, and hire Sylvester Croom". At the time I felt he was our best bet, for several reasons, one of which was possible leverage with the NCAA. I also said that I would not complain if it didn't work out, because he was my pick. So I have kept true to my word, until NOW.
That **** I just witnessed is the reason why I fell out of the loop years ago. After years of throwing money out the window for tickets, travel to Starkville and other locales all over the southeast, I finally threw in the towel after one of Jackie's 3-8 seasons. Lost interest and just never went back. Started going to one or two games over the past couple of years and even went to the Liberty Bowl. But after being lured back for this fiasco, I am done. <17> the whole shootin' match. Croom and his band of buffoons should be prosecuted for embezzlement, false pretense, fraud and anything else we could hang on their sorry asses for bilking the University for the kind of jack they are pulling down for the charade we have been witnessing. This is complete and utter ********! I could walk into downtown Jackson, right now at 1:30 am and just blindly pick out 9 coked-out winos that could stumble into the Bryan Building, take over the present coaches' offices and by next Saturday, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in the product on the field. 1.7 mil my ***. Where's the morals in that, Croom?
And on the subject of defense/offense. You could have an engine with four finely tuned racing cylinders (defense), but right across the engine block there are four 1978 Pinto cylinders (offense). Put 'em together and what have you got --- junk, ****, garbage. Absolutely nothing --- the MSU football team. Damn my head hurts now and that's all I will have to say about this. To Croom/McCorvey and Co. --- adios mf'ers. I won't be back till baseball season.
