So far Lands, Fabio, and Ree are all gone into the portal. I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering if they, and any others that leave, will be replaced with better talent. I'm hoping that Payne and co. have guys lined up that are better and can contribute more. But Payne has yet to come through for the program so far.

It's tough as a fan to see guys leaving now and have no clue what our roster will look like. I think this is just the way it's going to be from now on with the Portal.
As it stands right now, Cards have zero guards. This is presuming Ellis is also gone. Payne has to bring in at least 2 or 3 guards or next season will be even uglier if that's possible.
I know things are just getting started with transfers etc. but last season obviously didn't boost anyone's confidence.

I've heard Sky Clarke's name thrown out there for guard. not sure.

As of right now, Ellis IS on the team, though. Also, I believe Kenny has a commit from a JUCO guard, Koron Davis. Granted, none of this is worth celebrating, but it's a slight step up from saying zero guards.
Having said that you are 100% right that we need to get at least a couple elite guards to have a chance of moving the dial on wins next season.
Curry went through senior night. Just can’t see him coming back. I think the exodus is just beginning.
