</div>there is no reasonable person that believes that a 21 year old Cam Newton was oblivious to what was going on around him, therefore, there is no reasonable person that doesn't conclude that he has lied to the NCAA if he said he was oblivious - we all know what happens when you lie to the NCAA - ask Sidney and Dez Bryant. Getting "sufficient evidence" shouldn't require them going any further than interviewing Dan and/or Megan Mullen - pretty sure that is who Cam told that the $$$$$$$ was too much, and that the SEC got that info from Byrne. I guess that is not sufficient - I suppose Cam and his crew clearly have more integrity than Ms. Megan.<div>
</div><div>this "not sufficient evidence" statement is a total reversal of the NCAA's approach to things in the past - it has always been "prove you are innocent", we get pissed because that is the opposite of the legal system, and the NCAA reminds us that they are a private organization and not the legal system, and sits on their butt until the student and school come up with enough information to prove that they are innocent - usually takes a long, long, long time to convince them-----now all of a sudden they are the "innocent until proven guilty" patrol - huh?????</div><div>
</div><div>let's just give the NCAA a hall pass on the "not sufficient evidence" thing - the next issue is that this is such a huge NCAA sin that at a MINIMUM, Cam should be suspended for 4 or 5 games due to what his father admittedly did - that means the SEC Champ Game, Bowl Game, and 2 or 3 games next year (yeah - I know, he won't be there)</div><div>
</div><div>finally, "Auburn wasn't aware"????????????????????? - Auburn became aware in July when Slive got the remainder of his information from us - I assume - if they didn't become aware, Slive should be fired with a 12-0 vote by the presidents tomorrow - if Auburn was made aware by Slive of the issue in July, then this part of it is total BS - there was plenty of evidence submitted to the SEC for Auburn to know that there was likely a violation of the rules, and at a minimum should have done their own investigation to make absolutely sure that byrne, mullen, bond, and everyone at MSU were just fabricating all of this........but they played him anyway - - this fact should make it game, set, match - but no - according to the NCAA, they were unaware.</div><div>
</div><div>this corrupt NCAA Prez weasel should get sacked too for allowing all of this to go down the last few days, and to top it off, he issues this condescending statement to all of us stupid rednecks - what is so comical is that he was so taken off guard by everyone's outrage over this, that his only cover was to talk down to the rest of the world, while skirting the most obvious issues that I have shared above - disgraceful</div>
