It does put him ahead of most coaches. I listed the composite win percentage for this season. 11-109 vs the top 10 which is a .09 winning percentage for the field compared to franklins .138. There are only a handful of coaches ahead of FRanklin and they were not coming here.
Franklin was also going against OSU every year which was MOST of the losses.
How many of those coaches had the resources available to them that BGJ did at PSU? BGJ had shown that he was never going to improve at PSU. He is what his record says he is. I will take my chances with someone that has had success elsewhere without the resources that are going to be available to them at PSU. They cannot do any worse than BGJ had done. He had a nice run but his time was up. Best of luck to him at Va Tech. The program still has higher aspirations than 3rd best in the B1G during our best years.
