1. Sidney is not just fat, he is out of shape. He was sucking wind and grabbing his shorts 2 minutes into the game.
2. Rodney Hood is going to be ten times the player Ravern was. He had nine rebounds and ZERO turnovers to go with 12 points plus he plays defense.
3. Moultrie reminds me alot of Chris Bosh. He should touch the ball every trip down the court. Fastest post player I have ever seen at MSU and I think he hit his head on the jumbotron once.
4. Brian Bryant is much improved even if he did not have a huge game. Much better on defense.
5. Jalen Steele looks to be 100% healed and busts his ***. Barry Stewart Part 2. I don't know if that is good or bad yet.
6. Lewis has come a long way from being unable to make a layup but he still gets lost on defense.
7. Bost was in midseason form already and seemed faster to me......or maybe the other team was just slow.
8. Stansbury without fail always makes us play at the other team's tempo instead of making them speed up and get out of their comfort zone.
9. EKU is not a great team but they are one of those teams that is tough to blow out because they were physical on defense and shot a bunch of threes. We still should have won by twenty though. We will match up better against more athletic teams that don't run that Princeton type offense.
10. The guy on the microphone during timeouts doing the assinine contests from sponsorshas got to go. I wanted to punch his in the throat.

He only hit it on the shot clock. The Mize-o-Tron is fine. Don't worry...

- Wendell still has no touch around the basket. He got an offensive rebound late and shot it off the bottom of the rim. We will have no defensive presence in the post when both Sidney and Lewis are in the game.

- Didn't see any bigs popping to the elbow when they would zone us. Part of that is on Bost, they would switch defenses alot, he is the senior leader, he has to recognize the defense and call the right play. Part of it is on Stansbury too.

- Sidney threw an elbow once when he got fouled and Bost got into a shoving match...so much for the attitudes being better.</p>

1- Sideny is still Baby Huey. Apparently the whopping 3 miles a day and 1 on 0 post workouts while in Houston werent quite enough to transform him into Blake Griffin.

2- Hood does look like a very well rounded player. As a freshman, he is more complete than most of our departing seniors in Stans' era.

3- Moultrie seems to just be an overall good post player. He has energy, he has athleticism, he has size. His sort oftalents have been missed for a half decade now.

9- Since you mentioned the Princeton offense, remember a few years ago out in Cali when we played Miami of Ohio? Pretty sure they backscreened us to death. Another case of a less talented but more put together team beating us early in the season. Man that was a frustrating game to watch because you could see what they were going to do to us before it even happened. It was like yelling at the screen that the pretty girl needs to turn around because the killer is right behind her.
Ha, i just remembered that the Cali trip was also when Rhodes made a youtube appearance at breakfast with that fat porno chick.

Renardo Sidney's lack of physical shape and desire to be worth a damn. You can blame them for taking a chance on him, but Sidney continues to prove that he has no interest in getting in shape or reaching 70% of his potential. I just hope we don't let him ruin our season.

Rick can be blamed for many things but Sidney's lack of playing shape is not one of them.

Sure he takes plays off on defense, but Wendell gets lost on defense just as often. The difference is that Sidney has a good offensive game.
