sevendust made no spelling errors but his other info was this:
Andy Katz at 11:45 on ESPN Radio last night that.. _________________________________________________ sources at MSU and another source have told him Sidney will be cleared and could miss up to 2 or 3 games...or could very well end up missing none.

why would he still be suspended for 2-3 games? I know it happened to Riek but why do they still suspend players after they are cleared?

they suspended him. I think it was from illegal contact with an agent or something like that.

I just don't know who you take out, especially when you factor in how out of shape he is. I do think he'll definitely be starting by SEC play. I don't know a lot about basketball positions- how would a Sidney lineup look?

I had heard that when he first enrolled in classes, but hasn't he been practicing with the team?

claims that he has heard that Cam Newton has committed already to someone but just has not made it public yet. If this is true, it most definitely is us. We havn't heard **** on the recruiting front about QBs with the exception of us still wanting Brunetti. This is because Dan Mullen knows that Cam Newton is coming next year and we will win the national championship.

I'm pretty sure Sidney starts right away. Stans will probably limit his minutes initially as he plays his way into better shape though. Kodi goes to the bench, Sidney in at PF. Lineup looks like:
PG Bost
SG Stewart
SF Ravern
PF Sidney
C Jarvis

...but he still is over 280 according to Phil Cunningham today. He is still out of shape, but getting there. He was 307 when he arrived on campus.

His problem is not just his conditioning, but also his style of play. Based on the scrimmage I saw at the Hump before the Florida game, I would say that Augustus, Osby, or Turner would be more effective at the 4 than Sidney. He obviously has the body and the skill, but he certainly doesn't have the mentality yet to bang in the SEC. He plays like a 2-guard. For him to be effective in on a Stansbury team, he is going to have to learn use his frame to do the dirty work down low.

Of course, all of this could change as practice and the season evolve, but I think Sidney off the bench is our best bet based on what I saw. That said, he's one of those 'must-start' type prospects so he may start right off the bat regardless of what's best for the team.</p>

I agree with Coach34. Even if Sidney misses no games I don't see Coach Stansbury starting him over Augustus. Until Sidney gets into shape and proves he can play team ball he is best in spurts. I think he is going to take Sidney slow. Although very very talented I could see him being difficult to control if he is given complete freedom right off the bat.

Ive heard from someone on the staff that Renardo will come off the bench early on until he gets in shape. There won't be a better front court in the entire nation.

I've thought the same for a long time. If Kodi would dedicate himself to playing defense, he could very well work his way into being drafted.

You could go big:
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Varnado</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Sidney</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Augustus</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Stewart</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Bost</span>

<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Medium:</span>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Varnado</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Augustus</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Ravern</span>/<span style="font-weight: bold;">Turner</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Stewart</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Bost</span>

<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Small:</span>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Varnado</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Turner</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Ravern</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Stewart</span> <br style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Bost</span>

Those possibilities will keep opposing coaches awake at night....and that's only one lineup.

Unless Paul posts inside knowledge. Then he is on a one man crusade to try to prove him wrong.
