In an Executive meeting this morning

Was meeting with some big shots from south FL and was asked where my kid goes to college. I said Mississippi State. This one executive said "oh yeah, Ole Miss, I've heard of it"

i like to fell on the floor but calming replied "no that's the other school, we're the Engineering school in the state". She replied, oh yeah, we have a couple employees from there". I felt better!

Honestly, i live in nashville and if im at a sports bar and tell them to turn it on the state game, at least 30% of the bartenders or folks within an earshot will say something like....rebels or mississippi bulldogs or some sort of combo

This is a sports bar. It happens every time. Blows my mind.
