We ran it down there throat. Ashe probably has a decent pass defense since they are a pass heavy offense.
Lines aren’t big at all so D-Line could rush passer it will help a lot... This game might take 3 hours with all the passing!!!
Ashe has arguably one of the best offensive minded Head Coaches in the state. It will be interesting to see how he attacks Shelby.
Speed speed speed...Ashe QB Better get ball out in less than 2.5 sec or sooner or hes running for his life and no way ashe def has shot at holding shelby under 40...No disrespect to ashe..but this one has mismatch written all over it

We definitely got to play better we came out flat plate sloppy but that's to be expected after being off 1 week and not having a good practice due to rain.
I suspect Shelby to have a better showing in round 2.

Ashe has easy schedule, easy conference. Lost to 2 teams that would beat Shelby so figure all that in it might be a better game than anyone may think. I see Shelby winning but it won’t be by large margins.
Watauga has never beaten Shelby not saying that they couldn't now. As for Hibriten last year was only loss. But we gotta play our best ball week to week. We give Ashe a great game and see what happens
Heck no!!!! I’m not giving him Watauga, either. They’re undefeated, but none of their victories impress me. It would be a good game, but to assume they would have beaten us is ridiculous.
Coach Ware said they played like they had practiced in a gym for 4 days. The weather looks good for next week to get in some good practices. SHS will be a different team come Friday.
I KNOW Watauga would beat Shelby. These Mtn boys don’t look like much but they pack a punch and can get it done. They’re mostly well coached and play good situational football. It would be a good game no question. Prob a 7 to 14 pt win.
