Pitching looks good, but we'll see how it holds up against better competition. Still very young.

Good question. Not really sure where to find info about softball recruiting.

But, hearing Vann speak in interviews, I would imagine she gets after it pretty hard. She doesnt seem like the type to sign a couple of top players and a bunch of scrubs just to fill up a class. I doubt she would be satisfied with a .500 record during the regular season and barely making the postseason.

She's very passionate about her job, but like most progams at State,it's woefully underfunded competing against all the big money schools in the sec. The new softball facility was delayed two years because of no money.

Her dream job is her alma mater, Alabama and she'll probably get it if that coach leaves (again).
